A referral agreement is entered into when one party (Referrer) wishes to provide referrals / leads / potential clients to another party (Referee). The Referrer usually obtains a fee for providing the Referee with referrals / leads / potential clients. This referral agreement is drafted to be commercially reasonable for both the Referrer and Referee. It is recommended that the referral agreement is entered prior to the commencement of the referral arrangement.
