Paula is a Practice Leader in LegalVision’s Disputes team. Since 2010, she has advised startups and scaleups, corporate clients, senior executives and media organisations on commercial, employment and media disputes, providing strategic, commercially focused advice across a broad range of matters.

She advises clients across a broad range of Disputes matters, with particular expertise in breach of contract, shareholder and director disputes, and Intellectual Property and confidentiality disputes. She understands the commercial pressures facing businesses and individuals in dispute, and provides pragmatic, strategic advice that helps clients resolve disagreements efficiently while protecting their commercial position.

Paula advises clients on a broad range of contentious matters, including breach of contract claims, copyright and trade mark infringement, breach of confidentiality and shareholder and director disputes. She also supports clients with High Court and Tribunal claims, injunctive relief applications and the enforcement of restrictive covenants, helping businesses and individuals manage risk and achieve commercially favourable outcomes.

She has extensive expertise in Employment law, advising both employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious matters. She regularly supports clients with unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, employment and consultancy agreements, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies and HR policies, and advises on strategic exits and settlement negotiations.

Paula’s extensive experience advising startups, scaleups, corporate clients, senior executives and media organisations has given her a strong commercial understanding of the pressures businesses and individuals face when navigating disputes. This enables her to take a strategic, commercially minded approach to resolving disagreements, delivering pragmatic, solutions-focused advice to clients.

Obtained an injunction restraining a former employee from misusing confidential information, protecting the commercial interests of an established SaaS business operating in a niche manufacturing technology sector.
Advised on injunctive relief to prevent the presentation of a winding-up petition in a cross-border celebrity brand licensing dispute, involving contested payment obligations, tortious interference and breach of contract claims.
Represented a retail chain in a claim issued in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court for copyright infringement, successfully settling the claim on favourable terms.
Acted on a complex shareholder and director dispute involving applications for injunctive relief and an unfair prejudice petition.
